CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is a measure of a student's overall academic performance.
Credits represent the weight or value of a course. Each subject has a certain number of credits assigned to it.
Credit Points are calculated by multiplying the grade points you earned in a course by the credits for that course. For example, if you earned a B (3.0) in a 4-credit course, your credit points for that course would be 12.0.
This calculator follows the standard MAKAUT CGPA calculation method.
For MAKAUT, the percentage equivalent is calculated using the formula: Percentage = (CGPA - 0.75) × 10. This is the standard conversion method used by the university.
